22 Oct Paediatric Occupational Therapist and Speech Therapist Positions Available
The Kids Potential difference
Private practice has become a field where therapists are in demand and there is plenty of potential for employment. What a lot of companies don’t offer is a gradual approach to increasing independence as a new therapist. We prioritise ensuring you feel confident and capable to manage your caseload. We provide opportunities for you to learn informally from other staff members and our wide range of resources and formally through company paid professional development opportunities. We ensure your clients are within your scope of practice and support you to provide intervention to clients of increasing complexity as you feel ready.
We are committed to staff well-being in a big way! Caring professions are associated with a high rate of therapist burnout, particularly if therapists feel unsupported by their workplace. Mental health days are encouraged and we regularly discuss as a team ways to ensure we are prioritising our own self-care. Frequent check-ins are conducted with our Director to ensure you are managing your work-life balance and brainstorm ways to improve this if you’re having a hard time.
Culture
We are committed to providing a fun, supportive working environment. With mobile practice increasing across the private sector, it is imperative to make sure our team feels connected to each other and the company to prevent isolation. Every Friday we have coffee together while we catch up about our weeks and anything happening in life and we regularly have social activities and dinners.
